The PetSafe Stubborn Dog collar is the highest powered collar available. The stronger correction is used for larger dogs and more stubborn dogs. It includes four correction levels that can be adjusted on the collar itself so that you can have a different correction level for each dog on the system.
The PetSafe Stubborn Dog collar can be used with any other PetSafe In-Ground or Wired Dog Fence systems. This allows you to use the Stubborn Dog system with say a Doberman, while using a smaller collar such as the PetSafe Little Dog, more appropriate for say a Chihuahua. You can use any number of extra collars on the wired in-ground systems.
The collar uses a regular 9 volt battery, of the type that you can get at any supermarket or drugstore. The collar also comes with both long and short probes for use with long and short haired dogs.
