Indoor zones work with the PetSafe YardMax PIG00-11115, the PetSafe UltraSmart PIG00-13619 and Innotek IUC-5100 to create small exclusion zones in your home. The pods are wireless are powered by a standard 3 AA batteries that can be purchased at most retailers.
The zone creates a circular boundary diameter that can be adjusted from 2 feet up to 12 feet. When the dog gets too close they get a warning beep on their collar and if they keep approaching they receive a correction.
If you want to stop the dog from having access to certain rooms, position them near the entrance to the room. Most owners use them to keep their dogs from lounging on the sofa. (Note to dogs: we can tell when you do this by the trail of hair and oils that appears on our new sofa) The zones are small enough that you can slip them under a sofa cushion.
If your dogs are new to dog fence systems, wait a couple of weeks before introducing them to the zones. You don't want to teach them so much at once that they become overwhelmed.
