This outdoor pod allows you to create a small zone that prevents your dog from getting too close. Like a prop from Get Smart, the Pawz Away Outdoor Zone is cleverly disguised as a rock. The unit takes four D batteries and can work in both wireless or wired mode. The Pawz Away Pods are compatible with the Innotek UltraSmart IUC-4100 and IUC-5100.
In wireless mode, the outdoor zone creates an adjustable circular exclusion zone up to 12 feet in diameter. If the dog enters the exclusion zone, it is first warned with a beep, then given a correction.
In wired mode, you can connect up to 150 feet of boundary wire to create a wired boundary loop to stop the dog from entering the protected area.
Note: the unit cannot work in both wireless and wired modes simultaneous, you have to chose one or the other.
